ABSTRACT

In this article we analyzed the current development of moxibustion treating rheumatoid arthritis from the usefulness, advancement, synergistic effect as well as the variance between different kind of moxibustion. We concluded that moxibustion was an effective intervention for treating RA, and the methods used in moxibustion were searched in clinic. But the clinical tralls has a long way to go, we should pay more attention to the critical issues while in the use of moxibustion.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the articles published in Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism (CJEM) from 2010 to 2012.Methods The articles published monthly in CJEM from 2010 to 2012 were compared with those published bimonthly frnm 2003 to 2005.Results There were 254 papers published per year in monthly CJEM,being increased 19.2%.The average number of articles per issue was 21,being decreased 40% ; the average number of articles per page was 0.26,heing decreased 29.7% ; the average publishing cycle of the articles was 8.8 months,being shortened 37.1%.The papers with funded projects accounted for 51.1%,being increased 34.5%.The papers with citation accounted for 15.9,being improved 78.7%.The price's indicator was 53.5%,being decreased 6.63%.Conclusions The quantity,quality,and average publishing cycle of articles,as well as citation in CJEM were improved by shifting bimonthly to monthly issues.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the academic level and influence of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery from the point of articles published and the authors.Methods The articles and authors of Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery from 2002 to 2012 were retrieved from the Wanfang database and the China National Knowledge Internet database.The full texts were browsed and saved,and then the data were input to Excel for bibliometric analysis.Results There were 1917 articles were published in the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery during the past 11 years,and the average number of articles per issue was 29.05.The rate of articles with funded projects was 30.62%,and the citation rate was 58.52%.Authors were from 32 provinces,municipalites and Hong Kong.The numbers of articles contributed by authors from Chongqing,Beijing and Shanghai ranked top 3,which were 446(23.27%),240(12.52%) and 203(10.59%),and followed by authors from Sichuan,Jiangshu and Guandong.The number of articles from affiliated hospitals of Medical Schools was 1382 (72.09%).The cooperation rate was 4.37,and the coauthor rate was 90.03%.Conclusions Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery is an academic journal with high quality and strong influence.The distribution of authors of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery is wide,and the cooperative rate of authors is high,while the distribution of authors is disproportionate.

ABSTRACT

Objective to reveal the research situation about food safety in China by analysing the articles published from 2000 to 2008. Methods bibliometrics were used to analyze the articles. The cooperation and the distribution of foundations were searched out from CBMdisc ( China scientific journal Database) with "food safety" as keywords. Results 1829 documents and 4,063 authors were identified. The rate of cooperation was 68.05% and the authors came from 32 provinces, autonomous regions and special administrative regions of China. 194 papers were supported by various kinds of fund. Conclusion Research on food safty is developing fast to meet the soring needs in this respect of the society.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the characteristics of articles,citations and authors in Chinese Critical Care Medicine (Chin Crit Care Med).Methods The date about articles,citations and authors of Chin Crit Care Med from 2005 to 2006 were collected and analyzed in terms of bibliomertic parameters.Results There were 612 papers published in Chin Crit Care Med during 2 years and the papers with funded projects were accounted for 63.1%.The authors came from 30 provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government in China.The average number of articles per issue was 26;the paper density was 0.40 and the average period from the date of submission to publication was 5.2 months.Among these papers,87.6% were shared with co-authors,with cooperation rate of 4.40.The papers with citation were accounted for 85.1% and 95.9% of the citations in English came from journals.The Price's index was 58.2%.Conclusion The articles published in Chin Crit Care Med have high quality.It is one of the most important resources of information for researches in this field,and it is also a primary kernel journal in Chinese medicine field.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To study the characteristics of articles,citations and authors in Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology(Chin J Nosocomiol).METHODS The data about articles,citations and authors of Chin J Nosocomiol from 2005 to 2006 were collected and analyzed in terms of bibliometric parameters.RESULTS There were 1365 papers published in Chin J Nosocomiol during 2 years and papers with funded projects accounted for 12.3%.The average number of articles per issue was 57,the average publishing cycle of the articles was 8.4 months;87.1% of which shared with co-authors;the cooperation ratio was 3.57.The authors comed from 31 provinces.The papers with citation accounted for 68.9%and 92.3% of all the citations came from journals.The Price's indicator was 82.0%.CONCLUSIONS Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology,an academic journal of high quality,with strong influence,pushes the subject of Nosocomiology in China forward.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze the characteristics of the Chinese Medical Equipment Journal's articles and authors as well as their spatial & temporal distribution,and then put forward some advices for the development of the journal.Methods 4 434 articles of the journal from 2002 to 2008 were sampled for bibliometrics analysis from the aspects of column,author,region,organization,publishing delay and foundation support.Results With an abundant manuscript source mostly from the developed areas such as Beijing,Guangdong Province,Shandong Province and Tianjin,the journal set its columns reasonably and flexibly,and thus gifted with a short publishing delay.The coauthor degree and cooperation rate were less than the journals in other fields,and the number of foundation-supported articles,also less than others,but was increasing yearly.Conclusion Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,with a high-quality manuscript source and great influence in the field,can be considered as a platform for communication and academic achievements publishing.
